Eileen Shavelson is the author of books videos, film and tv scripts especially in her own BodySurf Spirituality genre, for both adults and for kids as Lani Lowell. .Eileen is the lyricist and music publisher of Shaloha Music SESAC. Eileen has bodysurfed the Hawaiian islands since 1979, from Maui, Kauai, Big Island and Oahu, as well Australia and both US coasts Eileen Shavelson also has an MS in Clinical Psychology(1978), She has practiced spiritual counseling along with modern psychology across the US ,and was interviewed by the Seattle Weekly in 1988 for her groundbreaking(or swell!) work. Along with Bill Mello of Kauai's Surf Jones fame ( composer) she created two musicals , SoulSurfing Dance Queens from Outer Space and Janis Joplin Fantastic Reality.Attuning with the magic of the ocean waves is her way of creating and evoking heaven on earth and so infuses her books ,scripts and songs with that idea in mind.
