Susan Hanafee is an award-winning former journalist whose career as a reporter for The Indianapolis Star newspaper spanned three decades. She sometimes writes under the pen name of E. C. Thomas. Her previous books include: Red, Black and Global, the transformation of Cummins; Rachael's Island Adventures, a collection of children's stories, and Six Weeks from Tuesday, an E. C. Thomas novel.
