Dr. Michael D. Moore, pastor of Faith Chapel Christian Center (FCCC), has been in ministry since 1980. Dr. Moore began Faith Chapel Christian Center in 1981 in his home in Wylam, a small community in Birmingham, Alabama. Today just blocks from the original site, Faith Chapel has a thriving congregation who worship in the world’s largest monolithic dome, “The Word Dome.” Over the years, Dr. Moore has gained immense popularity resulting from his ability to communicate the message of the Bible on a practical, applicable level while inspiring and empowering people to live successfully and victoriously on a spiritual, physical, mental, social, and financial level. He can be seen teaching worldwide each Sunday at 10 a.m. and Wednesday at 7 p.m. CST during a live stream broadcast at www.faithchapel.tv and via the church’s mobile app. Mike Moore Ministries, the outreach arm of FCCC, has a mission to minister to the needs of people through conventions, products, television and the internet by proclaiming “The Word of God is The Answer.” Dr. Moore accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior on October 4, 1977. In November 1978, while attending only one semester, he decided to quit school in order to fully pursue the call of God on his life. In January 1979, he preached his first sermon at his home church, Earnest Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Under Dr. Moore’s leadership, Faith Chapel Christian Center has experienced supernatural growth since its inception. To accommodate the growth in membership and regular church attendees, FCCC completed construction on a 3,000 seat dome in 2002. The Word Dome, a $15 million dome sanctuary, was built debt-free while assisting other ministries with liquidating their own debts. Most recently, FCCC has completed its newest building project, The Bridge, which is a part of the ministry’s vision for “The City of Deliverance”. Known as the church’s tool of economic evangelism, The Bridge includes six interconnected domes that houses a 12-lane bowling facility, banquet accommodations, children’s indoor play yard, fitness center, and more. The purpose of The Bridge is to meet the physical and social needs of FCCC’s church family as well as the surrounding community. In addition to his role as a pastor, Dr. Moore has authored several books including the popular “Weep Not: Overcoming Grief, Disappointment, and Loss”. He also currently serves as the President of FCCC’s Board of Directors. Dr. Moore is happily married to his wife, Kennetha Moore. They have a son, Michael and a daughter, Tiffany. The entire family works in the ministry with him.
