Description

Everyone knows a lovable a**hole. Some know more than one. And some might even be that lovable a**hole. These hilarious books tell the mostly true stories of real-life lovable a**holes who just happen to be rescued animals (with the exception of Big Jimmy) who live on a farm in New Jersey and were saved by Erica Brown. A great gift for the a**holes in your life!

"In my long political career, I've known many assholes, some of whom I've even voted for, but the assholes described in this book are by far the most lovable. A must read." --Former Governor of Pennsylvania, Ed Rendell

About the author

A founding member of Archimedes’ Printing Shoppe & Sundry Goodes, S.J. Russell has a love for animals that runs deep. She is especially inspired by the ill-mannered and ill-tempered. And it is that inspiration that fueled her leadership of the municipal shelters in Chicago and Philadelphia in their life-saving efforts. A writer, attorney, animal advocate and volunteer, Russell has also authored the award-winning coffee table book titled, A Ruff Road Home: The Court Case Dogs of Chicago, and has self-published three children’s books: Shelter Dog Kisses, We Can’t Go There, We’re Bears and Mr. Bird and Mr. Cat: How ‘Bout That!

Founder of Diamonds in the Ruff Dog Rescue, Erica Brown, is a renaissance woman. She’s not only a certified dog trainer and talented mixologist, she also has a masters’ degree in Business Administration. Erica is the co-author of Archimedes’ Assholes Need Love Too. Rescue is her blood. Erica has provided and found homes for creatures great and small for many, many years, including all of the assholes—Wilbur, Gidget and Raphael—of course, the inspiration for the book. She shares her home on eight-acres of farmland in New Jersey with her three rescue dogs, 16 chickens and a pig.

Maggie McMahon is a Philadelphia-based artist and illustrator who loves animals ‘n stuff. She shares her home with a rescued pure Phillybred dog from the City’s open-intake shelter and has two cats straight off of the streets of Philly.
