About the author

Jacquelyn Hendricks teaches in the English Department at Santa Clara University. Her scholarly work focuses on the intersection of medieval literature and contemporary popular culture. A resident of Boulder Creek since 2018, she lives with her son, Adam, and German Shepherd mix, Kynde.

Linda Curtis is a fine artist who has been teaching and painting in water-media in her studio in Boulder Creek since 2010. www.paintingsbylindacurtis.us She is an Open Studio artist and shows her work both locally and statewide. She lives with her teacher/writer husband Marek Zelazkiewicz.
