Description
The story of Albert will teach children resilience and survival in the face of adversity, and it can be used to help children dealing with local wildfires process what is happening around them. All proceeds from the sale of Albert's Ashes: A Peacock's Tail will go toward local volunteer fire departments.
About the author

Jacquelyn Hendricks teaches in the English Department at Santa Clara University. Her scholarly work focuses on the intersection of medieval literature and contemporary popular culture. A resident of Boulder Creek since 2018, she lives with her son, Adam, and German Shepherd mix, Kynde.
