This is the first book in a series of related stories surrounding the character, Zoe-Marie.

The child of an Army soldier, Zoe-Marie comes face-to-face with the rigors of military life as she must move away from all she knows and loves. Though sad at first, Zoe soon comes to understand that such changes are all a part of life. Finally learning that difficult lesson, Zoe-Marie sets out to enjoy her last days with her best friends.

Beverly Harris hails from Virginia, but has lived and worked in many parts of the world, including Italy and Korea. Currently residing near Washington, DC, Beverly is regarded by friends and colleagues as one who passionately cares about children and one who loves good literature. It’s that passion coupled with her vast imagination that spawned her youth literature writing career.
