"Zo-ee! The Crooked Tail Dog" is a children's book of true stories from the life of a most mischievous and adventurous Black Labrador Retriever. Rescued as a "free" puppy, her carefree life took her to places and unbelievable actions that are all true and genuine.  Each tale, presented in a poetic prose, makes for a fun read that appeals to all ages. The illustrations are abstract, free-style cartoonish paintings of each of these antics of Zo-ee, The Crooked Tail Dog.

The true stories of "Zo-ee! The Crooked Tail Dog" include tales of catching fish, snitching chickens, snake bites, devouring cars, fostering pups, how she got her crooked tail and many other humorous antics.  Even though she endured many lifesaving costly visits with the vet, we loved this "free" rescued puppy immensely.  We think you will too.  

Walt Teague is a father, grandfather, architect and business consultant who finds joy in reading to his children and grandchildren. Patti Teague is a former elementary teacher, successful realtor and aspirational coach and leader.  They live on their organic farm in their self-designed and built home where they have provided homes for many horses, goats, chickens, cats and dogs, including Zoe (Zo-ee), their beloved Black Lab.
