Zip, a ruby-throated hummingbird, has just returned to his summer home in Virginia. He can't wait to enjoy sweet honeysuckle nectar and see his woodland friends! Will his best buddy, Sam, be there to greet him after his long migration?
Description

Honeysuckle flowers and a hummingbird feeder have attracted Zip, a ruby-throated hummingbird, to return to Fredericksburg, Virginia every summer. Sam the Siamese cat anxiously awaits Zip's arrival each spring, and loves spending the season outdoors on the deck with his migratory friend. This story captures the fun that Zip and Sam have as they meet again after Zip's long migration from his winter home. "Zip, Zip, Hooray!" encourages friendship and kindness among diverse characters. This book includes fun facts about ruby-throated hummingbirds and a recipe for making sugar water for a hummingbird feeder.
