Jennifer Crosby was inspired to write “You’re So Beautiful,” when her daughter encountered a racially motivated situation at school. While her daughter handled the situation very well, Jennifer was angry. Later that night, she wrote her daughter a poem comparing her daughter's beauty to God’s creation. Now, she has turned her poem into a children’s book for all to read.

About the author


Jennifer Crosby draws from her past and current life experiences when writing. In her first book titled, “The Watermelon Trucks,” she tells of the excitement of playing a fun game with her cousins while waiting for the arrival of two watermelon trucks at her grandparents farm. The inspiration for her second book titled, “You’re So Beautiful,” came from a racially motivated situation her daughter encountered at school. While her daughter handled the situation very well, Jennifer was angry. Later that night, she wrote her daughter a poem comparing her daughter's beauty to God’s creation. Now, she has turned her poem into a children’s book for all to read.


Jennifer Crosby is also the owner of In Focus Management, Inc., founder of Beyond Tomorrow, Inc., a non profit 501 c 3 organization, and a seventh grade math teacher. She have two beautiful children, Jaden and Justin.
