A native of Capron, Illinois and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Gaylord L. Grover earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Sciences. In 1973, he commenced a 39-year career in delinquent and wayward youth rehabilitation, and spent nearly 28 of those years at Boys Republic, in Chino Hills, CA. From 2001 to 2005, Grover developed a community day school in Atlanta, GA for the Georgia Dept. of Juvenile Justice. This father of two and grandfather of five, who currently serves the youth and families of El Monte, CA, has been married for forty years.
