Sheila Lebrun-James was born to Haitian Immigrant parents in Brooklyn, New York. She is a wife to an amazing husband and mother to three awesome children, Isabella and Chase and Cameron. She began writing her children's books because they inspired her to tell the stories many parents share amongst themselves.
