Overview
Witch's Stew is a story in poetry form about an inquisitive child (boy or girl) who follows a haggard old witch into the forest, finds her cave, and secretly watches as she prepares her special stew for "ghost's and goblin's day". It is designed as an interactive book between reader and child, and suggested "props" are provided to make the experience even more suspenseful. The theme of the book includes a practical lesson on the importance of using one's eyes, brain, and heart to ensure each child has SAFE fun during Halloween.

About the author
From an early age, Bill described himself as a creative artist and "wannabe" writer. "Witch's Stew" is Bill's first children's book. Bill has been called the quintessential renaissance man”, and indeed, as Corporate Executives go, he did not fit the mold. After slogging it out for 30 years in the business world, he finally took the plunge to tackle his lifelong writing passions with full force. Since his “reallocation” from Corporate America in 2008, Bill has published two books, "Why is the Soft-Side the Hardest Part?" and "That's in the Bible?" He has written a full-length feature film screenplay (“Out of the Heart), which won “Best Thriller” feature at the Illinois International Film Festival. He has also authored numerous short stories, poems, songs, song-lyrics, and numerous articles for a variety of publications, and also published his first CD of original piano compositions entitled "Possibility". He has been a contributing author to numerous other author’s works, as well, and is a sought-after editor and mentor. Bill is currently adjunct faculty for Eureka College in the Organizational Leadership program.
