Solomon and his book of Proverbs have challenged, strengthened, and enlightened me over this last year. My respect for his insight has blessed and led me daily. He doesn't mince words—they are words that when applied will set your heart before the Lord. This book will challenge your motives and empower your steps for His glory, just as it did for me. You will hear the will of God and by faith, apply His steps to your life. It does seem very black and white as you read through many of the pages of Proverbs. However, I do believe the black and white is used to help us in our decision-making. The easier the distinction between righteousness and unrighteousness, the more clear the road is ahead. Wisdom is not given so we can feel lofty in our opinion or knowledge, but wisdom is given to apply this truth and impact the places God has given us. God is interested in our hearts, and Proverbs is filled with an inward look at motives. This book will strengthen your character and answer some of life's toughest questions. It will lift the fog over many decisions and give your road ahead a pure motive.
