About The Author

Gina Beck is the founder of Huckleberry Trails Animal Sanctuary in Shermans Dale, PA. Opened in 2019, Huckleberry Trails is currently home to 45 rescued farm animals, including Winnie. Gina retired from the military in 2017 after 22 years of service. She was born and raised in Donora, PA and currently lives in Central PA where she spends her days caring for the animals at Huckleberry Trails.
