About The Author

Lee was inspired by this story somewhere and adapted it into a stage play for her kindergarten class. Parents, teachers and all the students in school that day attended our production. It was a huge success. Lee went back to college and got her master's degree from Pepperdine University in California. She taught school for 30 years, raised four children, and now have 8 grand-children and 5 great-grandchildren. She has told this story through the years, to adults as well as children. To date, no one has ever been able to answer the question of why Santa wears a red suit. So, Lee wrote her version of the story and illustrated each page. She is enjoying her retirement in Florida. She has lots of time to paint and write. Lee is a member of an International Art Exchange and sends cards all around the world. Lee is currently residing in Clearwater, Florida.
