About The Author

Co-author of the "Where the Crosses Grow" series, Kimberly Toohey is a native to Southern California. She lives with her husband and "her" dog in a quaint little beach town. They have four grown children between them. While she continues to work as a registered nurse, her true love has always been in pediatrics. She believes her faith, family and friends are the key to living a meaningful life. She can usually be found on the beach watching her favorite surfer (a.k.a. her hubby) or beach combing for sea glass with her friend and co-author Stephanie Sunderman. The two of them love writing "Where the Crosses Grow" with their toes in the sand.

Stephanie Sunderman is the co-author of the "Where the Crosses Grow" series. She lives in a small coastal town in Southern California. With a culinary arts degree, she works as a personal chef. She is a mother and an artist, whose spare time is enjoyed at the beach or on the tennis court.

Stephanie always dreamt of writing children's fiction. She met her friend and co-author, Kimberly Toohey. Together, they began drawing from personal experiences and made the faith-inspired "Where the Crosses Grow" series.
