Overview
When You’re Left Behind, tells of when I was a young girl forced to find my own way through the chaos that surrounded me. From the start, I was told that my Dad was changed by the war in Korea. After being sexually abused by my Father at the tender age of four, I found very early that the social and educational systems would fail me, forcing me to live much of my life without a home. In the early 70's, despite living on the street, my Mother and I were turned down from receiving welfare. If not for the charity of a benevolent black family, that heard our plight, we would have been left out in the cold. An ancient fortune teller predicted disaster and on top of this a mysterious connection to Elvis haunted me. A catastrophic accident left my Mother in a coma, leaving me held captive and enslaved in the clutches of an embittered half-uncle.

About the author
About me: Let's see, I have the greatest family! Have been married to my wonderful husband for twenty-eight years. My son is now twenty-seven, and my daughter is twenty-three. They are all the best of the best, and I love them so very much!!! As for my other interests, cable news. Information, is something I can't get enough of. I'm much like a sports addict, who gets into sports, only it's the political talk show for me! While I think it's important to keep up with all the main cable news channels, I especially love Hardball on MSNBC. I'd like to think of myself as being both a realist and an idealist. I admire those who learn from life, whether hardship is thrust upon them, or even when it comes from their own mistakes. For this, I believe we can all make a difference. While I don't believe we can be perfect. It is good to remind ourselves, to at least do our very best. Along these same lines and in our race to the top, it is crucial that we understand that it's all about humility. My thinking can get a little deep for some, but have no fear, I am an optimist at heart. Anyway, may love find you all.
