About the author

Anne Markowitz Recht has been writing poems and rhymes most of her life. Professionally, she is a social worker who works with seniors. Anne received her Bachelor's of Arts in Communications from Albany State University and her Masters in Social Work from Adelphi University. Anne lives with her husband on Long Island. She enjoys hiking and skiing when she is not writing.

Laurie Beth Racanelli grew up painting and drawing her way through school in NYC where she ultimately received her Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art and Creative Writing from CUNY Hunter College. She then fell in love with the Healthcare field and received her Master’s of Public Administration in Health Services from Mercy College. She is currently raising her three school aged children in Irvington, NY.
