About the author
Sirus Hunt has, in his own words, “always devoured thrillers in single reads” because he finds they keep him most highly engaged and require less patience than other genres. Therefore his writing style has naturally gravitated toward this favorite book category.
Sirus grew up in Indiana, and from the tender age of six or so, when he was in first grade, he poured his heart and soul into creating the best “free-write” stories that he could, captivating his classmates with his exciting tales about go-cart chases and other action-packed adventures. So writing has always been in his blood. He once wrote a fantasy novel about two superhuman “bond brothers” who had elemental abilities that helped them fight demons. They were later betrayed by their own kin, and overtones from this theme are included in When Rain Rises.
Sirus joined the Marine Corps at age 18, and as of When Rain Rises publication, he is 20 years old. He plans to continue writing in his free time.
