Overview
Poems grounded in the natural world, in its beauty and routines—the changing of the seasons, the shift from dawn to dusk to dawn again. It is focused on and built from cycles: cycles of death and birth, of loss and gain, of connection and disconnection. –Amie Whittemore, author of Glass Harvest, Star-Tent: A Triptych. and Nest of Matches
Description
This manuscript is packed with images, even when not in the woods. Many include delicate seasonal imagery, accomplished soundplay and evocative language. What beauty! –Sarah Ann Winn, author of Alma Almanac, Portage, Haunting the Last House on Holland Island, Fallen into the Bay Field Guide to Alma Avenue and Frew Drive, Ever After the End Matter The imagery and music of this book are both lovely and well-wrought. –LouAnn Shepard Muhm—author of Dear Immovable and Breaking the Glass
