Erika L. Turner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Owner/CEO of Beauty For Ashes Counseling and Mental Health Services LLC, which is a mental health private practice that offers virtual counseling and psychotherapy services in the states of Georgia, Florida, and Vermont. She has worked in the social work and mental health fields for over 20 years. Ms. Turner received a Bachelor of English degree in 1996 from Spelman College, a Master of Science degree in Non-profit Administration in 2001 from Georgia State University, and a Master of Social Work degree in 2007 from Howard University. She specializes in the treatment of trauma and has earned the designations of Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP). Ms. Turner is passionate about incorporating christian and biblical principals into her practice, when desired by her clients. Erika L. Turner is also the author of the award-winning children's book "A New Family For Tate", which was the winner of 3 Bookfest Awards in 2024 for Animals, Social Themes, and Picture Books, and a Chrysalis BREW Children's Book Excellence Award in 2024 for Illustrated Book of the Year.
