About The Author

Deb Venable is—first and foremost—a mom. She wrote this poem when her eldest daughter was a toddler and recited it to all three of her children as they grew up. She knows that love and kindness are the most important aspects of being a good person. She taught her children these values, which are still so important today. When she's not encouraging her kids to be the best people they can be, Deb is a resourceful entrepreneur and a perpetual learner. Her goal in life is to teach people that education is the key to success. Her background in Industrial and Graphic Design have led to a lifelong love of finding creative solutions to challenges. What Color Is Your Heart? is Deb's first foray into children's literature, and she couldn't be more excited to share this message with the world.
