About The Author

Rori Francis Brooks holds a B.A. in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Brooks has worked with children in many capacities for over 30 years. She has owned and operated a childcare center for 17 years along side her husband and three children. Brooks has made it a mission to help the younger generation embrace differences through acceptance and love. It was truly a joy to work on this book with her daughter who illustrated it.
