About the author
Sandra Finkelstein has spent much of her adult life empowering herself and others. Being a mother to two boys, she felt the need to sit down and write something that would not only serve her sons but all children . She values the importance of accountability, responsibility, speaking your truth and walking the walk, and feels strongly that it's life skills that create the foundation for our success. That millennial youth - tomorrow's leaders - master these life skills is essential for the tools with which they'll equip them to challenge current systems and create sustainable, executable change. Sandra feels that, by guiding and teaching our children to speak up and out, and to cultivate relationships with the older population (baby boomers and seniors), we can tap into a wealth of knowledge and make our communities, businesses and governments more relevant to the needs of today and the coming decades. We're Not Gonna Take It is a call to action for all youth to be part of a tribe that will create this change. It is Sandra's greatest gift to assist in this journey and allow our youth to be all that they can be.
