Overview
Walking With the Word is a walking Bible study. Each chapter/walk contains a favorite Bible story, an application for our modern day lives and a series of questions to discuss while walking. The concept is that you get a little bit of exercise, some fellowship and stay in touch with God's word. Each walk takes 20-30 minutes so it easily fits in to a busy schedule.
Description
We have all heard the same Bible stories growing up even if we went to different churches. WWTW uses some of the most well known Bible stories as a way to bring us together. Each walk includes a Bible story, away to apply it to our modern lives and questions to discuss while walking. There are 24 walks so that a person could walk every day except Sundays. Or they could walk once, twice or three times a week. The author has given permission for the discussion questions to be copied so it can be used as a Bible study group lesson. In this day and age when free time is rare, Walking With the Word allows for Bible study, exercise and Christian fellowship in 20-30 minutes. This program is also flexible enough to use with spouses, parent/child, mom's groups, or Sunday School classes. Many churches and Christian venues have indoor walking tracks so Walking With the Word can be used any time of year.
