Budgeting with a vision is the key to ensuring you achieve your financial goals. Without a clear vision, you do not have a guide or motivating factor and will you will surely give up on sticking to your budget. Your vision should be exact and motivate you enough to make changes in your life. This how-to shows you how to take your financial vision and goals and realistically implement them into your future. Once you put the tools into action, your vision and goals become your reality. We are not saving just to save because it is the adult thing to do. Here I share the benefits of saving with purpose. Emerald, a native of Dayton, Ohio, graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting. She started her career as an internal auditor, becoming a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), where she specialized in making company's internal processes more efficient, now; she has decided it is time to ultimately make people better- financially. After leaving corporate America in 2015, Emerald founded both Emerald Sparks Ltd and Jewel’s Dog Boarding and Daycare LLC, to fulfill both her passions, financial literacy and fur babies. In 2016, Emerald wrote an eBook entitled Vision. Future. Reality: How to Budget Like a Boss.

Emerald is passionate about helping individuals and families create their own version of financial freedom through education and literacy, as it has been at the forefront of her life for many years. She started her financial plan and met with a financial advisor at the age of 21. She has continued to build and grow her plan, as her goals and needs have changed.  After 10 years of experience in financial services and counseling her friends and family members about money management, she realized many people were confused on everyday financial matters such as budgeting, credit cards, insurance, taxes, debt, and savings.

Emerald works with a wide spectrum of people from business owners to corporate professionals of all ages. Emerald's advisement is tailored to each specific individual to further help individuals accomplish what's important to him or her. She never develops a plan without the client in mind. Emerald believes it is never too late or early to live the type of life your heart desires and establish a plan that will get you there.

Emerald currently resides in Middletown, OH with her husband, bonus son, and two fur babies.
