About The Author

Abraham Gorfu Woldemariam was born and raised in Addis Ababa. He received his BA and MSc Degrees in Geography and Geology from Addis Ababa University in 1985 and 2008. He also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Ecology from ITC the Netherlands in 1994. He has been working as a social and natural scientist. He now serves as a Children's Minister at Debre Hail Kedus Gabriel and Kedus Yohannes Metmik Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, Washington, DC.
