Vatican Wealth, And a Pope's Pipe Dreams
by Robert L. Getz

Overview

Vatican Wealth and a Pope’s Pipe Dreams is an allegory. The Holy Father is analogous to the fictional character of Don Quixote, and his Executive Archbishop compares easily to Sancho Panza.

Instead of tilting at windmills as in The Man from La Mancha, the Pope and Archbishop pursue their shared vision of global peace in pursuit of their impossible dream.

The book is an envisioning of strategic dreams that have inspired and filled the author’s heart with possibilities for many years.

The story is set in the Vatican and uses the Church subtly and respectfully.

Description

Vatican Wealth and a Pope’s Pipe Dreams is a light-hearted, witty and provocative book. At other times, the story is as complex as the subject matter itself. In Pipe Dreams, Getz is brilliant in the way he compels the reader to enter the dialogue as if you are there while decisions of the world are weighed. Conceptualized decades ago, the plot is as fresh as today's headlines.
