Life seems pleasant in the village of Sweetwater Springs, Michigan. Tucked into the northwest corner of Michigan's Upper Peninsula on Sweetwater Lake, the village is a summer retreat for the leisure class. When retired Detroit police detective John Angelo hires on as the new Village Constable, he looks forward to the peace and solitude of his new job.
