Diana Franks, a brilliant young marketing consultant, is hired by garment manufacturer Verraine Industries to introduce a European line of glamour fashions to the US. While sexually adventurous, a history of failed relationships has taught Diana to avoid serious involvement. Her resolve is tested after spending the night with Verraine executive David Stern. Part entrepreneur, part humanitarian, David oversees a project to develop a wild silk industry in Africa. Trying to deny her attraction to David, Diana seeks escape in a series of encounters -- with distinguished company owner John Verraine, his adult sons and the exotic proprietor of a Parisian swingers club. Ultimately, to accept her love for David, Diana must resolve her inner turmoil and come to grips with a repressed childhood memory. She then finds herself embarking on a dangerous mission to rescue him from a warlord's captivity in the African bush.
