Taken from over 6000 entries into his diaries and journals, are stories from his childhood up to the present day.

Taken from over 6000 entries into his diaries and journals, are stories from his childhood up to the present day. They include an account of his kidney donation to a person he had never met. Other stories cover his 40 plus years in a 12-Step program and his days of flying jets on and off aircraft carriers. Each of the stories helped to mold Jim into who he became.

About the author
Although journaling for over forty years. It was never my idea. Struggling with alcoholism, I ended up in treatment where my counselor, Wendy, sensing I was hiding from painful thoughts, ordered me to delve into my feelings with pen and paper. … I've been writing ever since. -From Unpacked Memories Millions have experienced the music and guided imagery that Jim has been producing through his music label, Serenity, since 1985. Jim now takes us on a life-long journey as he unpacks many of his journals. Once a military pilot, Jim holds a BS and MS in Engineering, as well as an MA in Counseling Psychology. Along with being a member of a 12-Step program for over 40 years, Jim brings an abundance of experiences to these pages.
