About the author
Anissa Eve has a B.A. in philosophy from San Diego State University. She has always had a passion for writing. As a child she began writing poetry, as a teen and young adult she wrote music and song lyrics, and now her first book Unlocking Rapunzel. She is also an artist, dancer, activist, and actress. She resides in Los Angeles, California with her partner and animal companions.

Dhani 		Inspiring and Courageous! I read Unlocking Repunzal and I was truly inspired by this true-life story of a girl who’s childhood was marred by her mother’s unbearable control and her father’s absence. These hardships ring true for a lot of people but what sets Anissa apart as a role model is that she found her happy ever after by seeking self-love. Through her many ups and downs, Anissa stayed true to herself and forged in her own way in a positive direction. This amazing story will have any reader on the edge of their seats wanting to find out what happens next and how Anissa is going to triumph over tragedy. Read more
