Undertakers Inc. In Paris...

Overview

Can these rebellious vampires enjoy a peaceful life now away from the court of England? Certainly not! In this second book of the Undertakers Inc. series, Cyril dives into the exciting but treacherous gay nightlife of Montmartre and meets a handsome and mysterious libertine. Meanwhile, a string of recent murders of children occurs by a man calling himself the "Mad Hatter." Seemingly every vampire could have a connection. In Hong Kong, Shen abandons Holly to return with his mistress, but the feisty young woman won't let him get away with it. After training as a martial artist, Holly—now going by Lan—returns to Paris to find Shen, but she is kidnapped by her father and finds herself tied up with two handsome Egyptian mind benders who have other plans for her. Murder, mystery, and heartbreak—enter the dizzying world of bohemian Paris!

Description

Bored with his uneventful home life, Cyril begins to explore the gay vampire nightlife of Montmartre and meets a handsome libertine, Maurice, who has many secrets. Meanwhile, a serial killer going by the name "Mad Hatter" targets only children and appears to be a vampire. Tim, Cyril, and the Freemasons are all on the case. After making a terrible mistake and accusing their friend Joe, Tim and Cyril become the subject of his next scandalous book. Wanting to play a prank on him, they set him up on a date with their secretary Elise. Little did they know the two of them would actually fall in love!

Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, Shen seemingly betrays Holly and returns to his mistress Xiaolian. But Holly won't leave it there. She changes her name to Lan and trains as a martial artist with the Liu Warriors, who fight to dismantle human trafficking circles run by vampires lords in China. Xiaolian's clan is part of those human traffickers, but it is to obtain her revenge on Shen that Lan allows herself to be captured and follows them back to Paris.

But Shen has never abandoned his mate, and has a plan. That is, if Heath Thompson would ever let his daughter live in peace. He kidnaps her and brings her back to the court of England, where he introduces her to handsome foreign vampires who are signing treaties with him. One of them, Tarik, falls in love with her and plans to bring her back to Egypt with the help of his brother Seth, and make him his consort.

Cyril, feeling used and abused by Tim, lets himself be seduced by Maurice and wants to break up with Tim. But Tim is not ready to give up on him, nor on his sister...
