About the author
Scott Brooks was raised as an atheist and approached life from that perspective for his first twenty years. In looking back at those years, Scott now sees that he had done many things that worked against him having good relationships, and yet at that time, he did not understand the reasons why this was so.
Jesus was so lovingly gracious to open Scott’s eyes to see that there was a lot more to life than he had originally thought. Scott then went through an exploration process, where the Lord helped him to eventually become a Christian.
With having such an atheistic start to life and then seeing things quite differently, Scott has had an ongoing hunger to not only understand why we exist, but to also understand how many relational aspects of life actually work. Scott considers it a gift to understand such things, and has come to greatly value quality friendships with both Jesus and others as well.
Scott in no way desires to “teach at” or “lecture” others, but simply shares his heart through his writings of what has become very valuable to him. And he encourages his readers to look to the Holy Spirit to make things stand out to them so that the Holy Spirit can uniquely tailor the book material according to His very best for their individual lives.
