Description

Two thousand years ago Jesus taught people with stories and parables. For many people today those stories make little sense and the context of the stories are lost on us. We do not live in first century Israel and we don't live today as they lived back then. Jesus told the stories He told because of who He was speaking to. But what if Jesus were to tell those stories today? How would He share those same truths? That is what Troy Richards has tried to do with these stories, share the same parables Jesus told but update them for a new audience, keeping the truths the same but allowing them to come across in the stories themselves. Forty parables retold in a way that readers today can understand and relate to with the goal of allowing people to discover the truth in those stories just as Jesus allowed people to do two thousand years ago.
