Description

"Tutu's Pearls" helps us remember who we are. May it be a gentle reminder to live a life focused on love rather than fear. These "pearls" are for "children" of all ages. May it become the inspiration to lead a more joyful life. This book contains simple lessons that we seem to have forgotten. In an era of high-speed and ever-changing technology, the authors want to share that miracles are abundant in this world if we only take the time to notice them. These pearls may help you reconnect with the magic of childhood and the wonder of nature. Both children and adults may find this book to be a soothing bedtime story. It helps quiet the mind at the end of the day. We hope this book will help "plant the seeds" of wisdom and kindness in a world that can be somewhat chaotic. May this book help boost your confidence and recognize your personal magnificence. "Tutu's Pearls," the first book in our Kupuna series, may bring peace and comfort within its pages. Kupuna in the Hawaiian language refers to our elders, (it is literally translated as "Ku," meaning "My," and "Puna," meaning "Source"). We hope that your experience with this book makes you feel like you just had a big hug.

Recommend this book!! I purchased “Tutu’s Pearls” for my little sister’s birthday. My sister is very artistic and lacks for nothing, so it’s always hard to find something out-of-the ordinary that she’d enjoy. She has four grandchildren and I had visions of her reading this book with them. The book is a treasure trove of simple messages for lessons to live by. It’s a book for all ages and a nice addition to showcase on the coffee table. Some of the passages will be familiar to you and having them illustrated brings a magical quality to the book. “Tutu’s Pearls” is truly a gem! Read more

Our NEW family favorite!! One of my favorite books of the decade! I just read Tutu's Pearls. A lovely written and crafted book of wise words and comforting messages for all ages. The original artwork that graces every page allows the written word to come to life in a way that is magical and inspiring. The book's authors are close friends, Linda and Janet, both enjoying kids, grandkids, family and friends. Each seemingly living a full life, yet both decided to coauthor a book to share timeless, enduring messages of peace, hope, kindness and love with us all. And, I am so glad they decided to bring Tutu's Pearls to life. Sharing this book with you today, I encourage you to add Tutu's Pearls to your home library. My plan is to leave it out on a table where it's accessible to family and visiting friends. Without a call to action, Tutu's Pearls will invite readers to sit awhile; maybe slow down a bit. I foresee some choosing to read aloud to another, others may curl up to read quietly, as they sip on a cuppa joe. How this book, Tutu's Pearls, meets those who enyoy it, will result in a common outcome: a sweet memory will be resurfaced or even a new one created. An evoked smile is certain, as the reader is generously reminded to enjoy the sentiments of every moment we call life. Read more
