Coloring can be therapy for all ages. Use it as you see fit and worry less about staying inside the lines. most of my greatest creations were on the other side of that line. Cross it as many times as you see fit as long as it is healthy for you.

Trauma can come in many different forms and hide in different settings. I pray that this book helps with healing to all those that need it.

Hi I'm Portia Palmer, I was born in Baton Rouge, LA. People have labeled me for most of my life for example. Hyperactive, Frisky, ADHD, Loud, talkative, and a child that just can't sit still and that's just to name a few. I always knew I was different. I had the drive to do something with my life I used to be highly motivated with a purpose. Thanks to God I am still here today. I'm still highly motivated but my process is different and I have a few more new labels added such as PTSD. I decided to use my experience to help the youths in my city so that none of them have to go through what I experienced. A major issue I noticed with most children with low-income parents, (apart from the obvious signs of malnutrition) is the lack of education and as a result, limited career choices. A lot of youths here have zero vocational training and are unemployable. This is the major reason I decided to set up a nonprofit organization called Miss Portias Helping Hand For North Baton Rouge. My first mission is to feed those in need.
