About the author
Barbara Daoust is a Transformation Coach, Speaker, Author and Artist. She teaches workshops and coaches clients on how to use spiritual laws to embrace change as an opportunity to transform their lives. She empowers people to step into their true value and helps them to connect to their true self.
Barbara has an MFA in Theatre Directing from UCLA and is certified with Christy Whitman's Quantum Success Coaching Academy. She also attended the University of Santa Monica's Spiritual Psychology Program from 2006-2007.Barbara spent most of her career in Theatre Arts, Film and Television as a director, acting coach, writer and producer. She co-founded Phase One Productions in San Francisco, directed productions for numerous Bay Area Companies and was invited to the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C with her production of "Quisbies" by Leland Moss. She also wrote, directed and co-produced with her late husband, Patrick, a short film called "Letting Go...".
After graduating from UCLA's Theatre, Film and Television Program, she coached the Olsen trins, of "Full House" fame, for ten years. She directed their animated series and one of their music videos, "You're Invited to Mary-Kate and Ashley's Fashion Party". She also founded an acting school and coached private clients until she experience d the tragic loss of her husband, two months before their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Facing depression for the first time in her life and not knowing which direction to take, what decisions to make, or how to survive her grief, she was guided by situations, opportunities and experiences that helped her to regain connection with her life and learn how to love again.
Barbara created the Sunflower Art Studio in Simi Valley at the Center for Energetic Healing and also works at her own studio in Los Angeles, California. She creates intentional jewelry and has developed a line of affirmation vessels for Love, Sel-Love, Healing, Grief Healing, Serenity, Empowerment and Abundance. Her work is sold on her website, and also in boutiques in the San Fernando Valley.
