Hi, I'm Ingrid and I'm fifty percent Norwegian, my mother is from Sandefjord Norway. I spent many long happy days in my childhood learning the folklore of trolls and nissa's on Hjertaas mountain behind my grandparents farm there. I've written this little book with love to my five children and all children, even if they are grown now, who want to learn about the enchanted inhabitants of Norway as it has been passed down from generation to generation.
