From 2010 when she joined the Peace Corps, she continued traveling, living and working abroad for the next four and a half years. Joanne isn't a thrill seeker per say or an adventure traveler, but just a "typical" middle aged woman from the Midwest. As an empty-nester she went looking for ways to inspire herself and to shake up her life. Joanne sought change and enlightenment abroad. Did she find IT? Lets just say, let Joannes' wanderings and ramblings inspire you to walk your own path and follow your heart, wherever they may lead you.

Joanne Nussbaum is a free spirited middle aged lady who loves life. Born and raised in Ohio farm country, she's spent the majority of her life in her home state. As one who gets easily bored and seeks change and challenge, she's had many roles and vocations during her lifetime, including waitress, probation officer, shelter manager, secretary, house cleaner, family advocate, gardener, volunteer and ESL teacher.The past several years have been quite an adventure, living abroad and spreading her wings, celebrating her empty-nester status. Joanne has had a life long love affair with reading and writing and at this stage in her life has reignited her passion for writing. She's ecstatic to be a grandmother and continues to write and enjoy a quieter life once again in Ohio amongst family and friends.
