Gorgeous Sonya, once married to the world-famous rock star, Rod Harrison, is now in her fourth marriage with renowned tax attorney Michael traveling on a tour through Europe in 1984. The third morning in Paris, Sonya tells Michael that she is having an affair with Dr. Charles and that they intend to marry after the tour. Michael refuses to continue the tour and tells Dr. Charles wife, the sexy attorney Barbara, about the affair. Sonya and Dr. Charles leave Paris together, stranding Michael and Barbara at the hotel. About The Author


Tourists off the Tour, Gillette Edmunds' second novel, was originally published in 2023 solely as an eBook. Gillette began work on Tourist off the Tour in 1984 and then set it aside until 2001. After working on it a few months, he resumed writing nonfiction, finally returning to Tourists in 2021. His first novel, We Were, was published in early 2021. Stand Like a Dancer, Gillette's third novel was published in early 2025.  His fourth novel, expected late 2025, The Adventures of Jill and Becca, is the story of two characters from Stand Like a Dancer. After a successful career in money management, Gillette writes novels derived from his personal experiences including extensive travel and chaotic, comical relationships. Gillette has a BA in English and Creative Writing from Stanford University and was a ghost writer in 1980-81. Gillette is married and has three adult children and one grandchild. He had a successful career as a non-fiction writer. Gillette is the author of How to Retire Early and Live Well with Less Than a Million Dollars (Adams Media, 2000), Comfort Zone Investing (Career Press, 2002), REITs for the New Decade (various e-book web publishers, 2001), Retire on the House (John Wiley & Sons, 2006) and many articles. How to Retire Early sold more than 85,000 copies.
