About the author

Growing up inSouthern California native, Stephen Banasky moved to the Pacific Northwest at the age of 18.  While attending University, Steve was introduced to commercial fishing and the wilds of Alaska during the summer.  The experience had a profound impact on him. Steve spent five years on the water on countless fishing craft fishing the waters of the Puget Sound and Alaska.

This book is the result, mixed with a little imagination and twenty years of time it took to write.  It’s a book I’ve always wanted to write.
