To Be the Hunter or to Be the Hunted

One bad decision in Ember's life led to so many more bad things happening. Most of these bad things were out of her control. Or they were the result of someone else's actions. She navigates her life trying to. It was over her trauma of things that happened in her past. And in doing so, she finds out. The person doing all these bad things happens to be the one she cares about most. And she has to make the decision either to side with him. Or to turn against him. Which is something she finds hard to do. Justin's perfect life got turned upside down. And one fell swoop with a fire. In the aftermath of that fire being burned. Having to deal with not being. Comfortable with himself. Now with his body, not with his sexuality in the beginning, but finally learns the way to accept himself by having a person in his life that makes him see that he is everything. It finally learns that the person whom he thought he could trust had been the very person lying to him his entire life. And his only family turned out to be the one that hurt him the most. And how he has to find a way to deal with all of this. Azazel had a happy life until he tried to stop someone from going after someone he cared about, and since then, it's been one thing after another happening to him. Where he's had to survive and defend himself against predators or people after him. He's never had anybody that protected him. He always thought he had to do it himself. Along the way he did find people who truly did care about him that tried to protect him. Because time and time again he keeps going back into the fire. Where he knows he's going to get burnt over and over again. And he never learns how to deal with the trauma and the. Assaults he's had to survive through. He hopes that one day he can finally heal from all of this and finally be free. They love the way he should be.
