About the author


In addition to being a children's book author, Christina Capatides is a senior producer at CBS News. She has written hundreds of articles on topics ranging from politics and sports to entertainment and human interest. She has also produced and edited three CBSN Originals documentaries: "Gender: The Space Between," "Thicker Than Water" and "Portland: Race Against the Past." Before her time at CBS, Christina worked for Good Morning America, World News with Diane Sawyer, and The Mutt-i-grees Curriculum through Yale University. She holds a BA in English from Georgetown University and an MFA in musical theater writing from NYU.
