About The Author


Mike Woodard is a graduate of Michigan State University and worked for over 20 years as a market research director for large corporations before he found his dream job as a middle school teacher. As a teacher, he taught career exploration classes and coached both boys' and girls' basketball teams. Currently, Woodard has retired from the classroom and lives with his wife in Glendale, Arizona, where he continues to coach basketball, coordinate online discussion groups, and provide teaching and consulting to teachers, schools, and students across the country. His first book, "Those Amazing Kids in Mr. W's Class," was released in 2022 and received critical acclaim. His second title, "More of Those Amazing Kids in Mr. W's Class," was published in 2023. "Those Kids Are Still Amazing" will be his third published work.
