This World of Echoes - Book Two

A Divine Guide to Being Human

Overview
This World of Echoes takes us on a wondrous and powerful journey from the source of divine energy to its unfolding in sound and light as planes of greater and greater density—planes that form our spiritual and physical ‘worlds’. Its core themes help us understand why our world works the way it does, what our personality is made of and how we can move beyond it to identify instead with our higher consciousness. Book One introduced the unfolding of Divine Energy from its Still point at source to increasingly dense, distorting layers of substance and consciousness that we—as human personalities—define as 'reality'. Its beautiful language took us to a universe of new thought and higher states of knowing. In layers of meaning it explored the nature of Self, the duality of our personal worlds and the wholeness of the greater Life that surrounds us. This is Book Two. It takes us deeper into the nature of both the personality and the soul (or higher self) and their relationship to each other. It examines the attributes of Will and Love at both these levels of consciousness, looks at our spiritual evolution as both a path and a service, and explores our understanding of faith and healing. In beautifully expressive language it continues to expand our understanding of the nature and reality of Being as it unfolds from Divine idea into the structure and form we experience as life on Planet Earth. Book Three brings us more insights into the contrasting worlds of the personality and soul (or higher Self). It furthers our understanding of how the unseen unfolds from the depths of the void of potential into the apparently solid reality we human beings experience as This World of Echoes. This final book of the trilogy expands on our relationships—with ourselves, with each other and with the greater Life of which we are a part.
Description
This World of Echoes takes us on a wondrous and powerful journey from the source of divine energy to its unfolding in sound and light as planes of greater and greater density—planes that form our spiritual and physical ‘worlds’. Its core themes help us understand why our world works the way it does, what our personality is made of and how we can move beyond it to identify instead with our higher consciousness. Together the three books lay about us a map of understanding that brings new light to old questions, like the idea that our ‘reality’ is an illusion. If that’s true, why does it feel so real and how do we escape it to live as spiritually conscious beings? Or—what does it mean to say that Divine Love is inclusive and compassionate but not personal? How does our personality distort our ultimately divine nature even when we are trying so hard to be ‘spiritual’? This World of Echoes offers divine keys to understanding our experience of being human on planet Earth. It explores our relationships with ourselves, with each other, and with the myriad beings that sit beside us in their own 'kingdoms', seen and unseen. It opens doors of possibility as we strive to become spiritually conscious whilst living as a human personality. This final book of the trilogy expands on our relationships—with ourselves, with each other and with the greater Life of which we are a part. The deep wisdom of This World of Echoes remains fresh, resonant and useful no matter how often we read it and regardless of our status, our circumstances or our station in life.
About the author
Jacquelyn E. Lane writes from a global perspective on nature and spirituality, expanding the boundaries of our perception, inviting us to rethink our understanding of reality. Jacquelyn is a New Zealander. She grew up in Wellington and in the Pacific Island nation of Western Samoa and studied at Victoria and Massey Universities. In the mid 1980s with two young sons in school and a social science degree behind her, Jacquelyn turned a life-long love of drawing into an art career and was for many years an exhibiting member of the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts. In adulthood she has travelled extensively and lived in several countries. The interface between science and metaphysics is where this author-artist is most at home. With over forty years study and experience in metaphysics and the Mind Body Spirit field in general it’s no surprise that in This World of Echoes—A Divine Guide to Being Human Jacquelyn has gifted us a profound trilogy that explores the unfolding of divine energy from its still point at source out into the increasingly dense and distorting layers of substance and consciousness to form what we know as ‘our world’ of the physical body and human personality. Jacquelyn and her husband have recently resettled in New Zealand after years of transience. She has many stories—about her work, her travels and the learning that comes from those physical and internal journeys—all sufficient for books of their own. With her recent return to New Zealand, Jacquelyn has replaced a fifteen year membership of the British Society of Authors with membership in the NZSA. In the past she has written esoteric articles for interest groups like the Aura-Soma International and Australia magazines and her work was featured in the German magazine Esotera. She illustrated Julie Leibrich’s delightful children’s book Once in a Blue Moon (Random House (NZ) Ltd 1995). Jacquelyn’s novel, (for adults and young adults) The Children of Gaia—An adventure with Deva, Earth’s Hidden Kingdom, is soon to be released in its second edition in hard cover with Jacquelyn’s 177 fine art illustrations. It will also be published as an eBook with a limited number of pictures. She is particularly looking forward to completing a non-fiction on the Deva kingdom. Jacquelyn runs workshops on art and metaphysics.
