Description
A book that tells you things that you take for granted sometimes and also it could've have already happened to you as one would say after reading one of the sentences or phrases it contains. Times that make you remember "hey, that same thing happened to me at work" or "yea, I saw someone doing that at the mall" , etc. A book that can be related to anyone that reads it. (Oh, honey, I wish we remembered to bring the grand piano along to the airport because I think we left our airline tickets on top of it); as one line reads.
About the author
Born in Huntingdon, PA. Grew up in a small village in Pennsylvania Furnace, PA. Learned to play piano at 6 years old. His first song was Heart and Soul playing the top part by ear on the keys while his mother played the bottom chords. Went to elementary school at Warriors Mark, PA. and finished High School at Tyrone, PA. Ed worked on his cousin's farms in the valley nearby since he was 11 years old and worked at Sears as a Manager while going to college at Penn State University. He then taught music from 1978 to 1991 and tuned pianos. At times he'd play piano at the Autoport Lounge in State College in the 80's on Jim Langton's break on Friday nights. Ed was best serving in the military though as he loved it so much, he signed up and joined the Special Forces Unit and was to be stationed in Fort Drum, NY at the Airborne Unit. What happened though was he was severely injured during maneuvers and had to be processed to the WRAMC at Walter Reed in Washington DC were he became a bodyguard/special officer while recovering there and until he retired with a full pension in 1996. Ed now resides in the mountains where he always wanted to be since 11th grade, living his dream with the forest and nature. He wrote some books during his recovery days in the late 80's to the early years of the millenium and now is finally publishing one here by Book Baby as he had some music CD's made and has had success with selling them on CD Baby.
