These mini-biographies include COMMUNITY LEADERS & EDUCATORS of the 1950's & '60's, as well as those that attended New Canaan High School that made their significant mark in the world.

This book details in brief the lives of 118 individuals. It is a comfy & relaxing read rather than a staid, cut & dried series of profiles. It is meant for those who were a part of New Canaan back in the 1950's & '60's, as well as giving historical interest to younger people of our unique town.

Arthur Hahn is a1963 graduate of New Canaan High School. He has an Associates Degree in Theatre Arts from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Nedw York City. He also has a BS in Secondary Education/Social Studies from the State University College at Buffalo, NY. He has performed as a professional actor in summer stock, radio commercials, & "Off-off Broadway" showcases. He was in direct sales for a general construction firm in Buffalo. He taught social studiers at both the middle & high school levels in Western New York suburbs. He was both a news anchor & co-host of a call-in talk show on Buffalo radio. He also did Development for the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. He has three adult children. Today he is a widower residing ion North Charleston, SC, where he is "gainfully retired". This is his first published book.
