Description
You don't have to suffer through Graves' Disease. "There Had to Be Another Way" was written to help fill a void for the Graves' Disease community looking for healthy alternatives and natural ways to get better, feel better, and stay better. Author and plant-based island chef, Mina Grace, was diagnosed with Graves' Disease and restored her health without radiation nor surgery. Mina's book walks you through the exact paths she took to wellness when she decided that traditional Western medicine wasn't for her. Gone are the days of unhealthy rapid weight loss, thinning hair, tremors, brain fog, emotional rollercoasters, insomnia, high blood pressure, heart palpitations and low libido. The 31 lifestyle challenges that Mina lays out in each section of her book are achievable, measurable, and manageable. Recognizing that one-size doesn't fit all, the author helps patients figure out how to create their own personalized health-centered "Signature Lifestyle Recipe" that's tailored to meet their needs. You're not buying a book. You're buying a lifestyle.
About the author
On a leap of faith, Mina Grace left California during the height of the pandemic to live on a remote island in the heart of the Philippines. She's a Momma to four grown sons, and a Grammy to one. She's also the plant-based, Graves' Disease Chef and social media influencer behind @breakingdailybreadwithMina. She's a lifestyle and health food columnist for Tangled Silver Magazine, a magazine for women by women who've ditched the dyes, embraced the beauty of aging, and learn to love their natural hair color. In her former life, she enjoyed a colorful and illustrious career in politics interviewing and working with three U.S. Presidents, Cabinet Secretaries, a movie star Governor, Senators, and Dignitaries. She served as Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of California School Magazine - earning awards and accolades within education circles nationally and statewide - under her leadership. She co-authored and led a team of legal experts, bureau chiefs, news reporters, law enforcement officials and top school leaders to write "911! A Manual for Schools and the Media During a Campus Crisis." Above all, she loves God.
