Cristiaan Jackson
Cristiaan Jackson, a visual designer, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Their expertise spans identity, information, web, print, and motion graphic design. Cristiaan has helped design exhibitions for the Design Museum of Chicago, collaborated on campaigns like Vax Chi Nation and Unspoken for the City of Chicago, and continues to mentor aspiring visual designers. In addition to their design background, Cristiaan has an Associate of Science with an emphasis in Engineering, showcasing a multidimensional intellect.
While their professional path led them to visual design, their passion for mathematics continues to thrive. Their current passion is using design to simplify complex mathematical concepts, particularly the theory of infinity. Cristiaan has written, designed, and even hand-bound several artist books in the past but "The Multiverse of Number Systems" is their first co-authored and published piece. Lenny Moore
Lenny Moore holds an MFA Degree in Visual Communication Design from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and a BFA Degree in Fine Art from Western Washington University. They are a co-author, alongside Cristiaan Jackson, of "The Multiverse of Number Systems," which delves into historical number notation and a specially designed number notation called CLNS notation. Lenny also has many other number systems they have created and are currently working on.
Lenny draws inspiration for their ideas from various fields, including science, mathematics, art, design, linguistics, philosophy, biology, and psychology. Their multidisciplinary approach to life reflects a commitment to pushing the boundaries of human understanding.
Lenny is also a gardener.
